Trusted Forex broker EverFX and FinTech incubator Axios Holding, join forces in helping families from Limassol and Nicosia, affected by the COVID-19 crisis and the economic turmoil it has caused.
The Cyprus-based fintech brands and long-time strategic partners will help close to 600 families. Each family will receive a €50 coupon that will be redeemable at Alphamega supermarkets for any products except tobacco and alcohol. The families eligible for the coupons will be selected from the Cyprus Red Cross Society and the assigned government authority for full transparency.

The donation to Cyprus Red Cross Society, Nicosia Branch, is more than welcome and we are happy to assist and contribute in identifying families who will benefit from this help.”
The initiative is timed perfectly for the Easter Holidays, where many people’s festive weekend may be overshadowed by financial struggle and the difficulty to provide festive meals for their families, in addition to the isolation and the limits in celebrating one of the year’s biggest holidays. Organisers hope for the initiative to relieve the burden of the economic crisis as most families are expected to redeem the coupons before Easter.
As the Cyprus government is also undertaking a massive effort to relieve the crisis, authorities welcome the initiatives from the private sector. “Limassol has grown into a truly diverse and cosmopolitan city. We celebrate holidays and enjoy carnivals together, but it is especially heartwarming when representatives of the private sector come together with the locals in the time of need. We have identified the families who will benefit from the initiative, and are thankful to EverFX and Axios Holding for the support” – said the Mayor of Limassol Nicos Nicolaides.
