For yet another year, the Lidl Food Academy opens its doors to an exciting OPEN DAY and promises us unforgettable moments, fun for the whole family, many gifts and above all, its exquisite holiday creations!
On Sunday 18 December, from 11:00 in the morning until 20:00 at night, the Lidl Food Academy invites young and old to take them on a journey into the magical holiday spirit of Christmas with unforgettable experiences, delicious tastes and many activities.
The chefs and the entire Lidl Food Academy team have prepared a special day for the public once again, to celebrate in a Christmas atmosphere, full of decorations, music, plenty of mulled wine and tantalising aromas from the day’s baking!
The festive programme
The Lidl Academy doors will open for visitors at 11am, with music in the courtyard, mulled wine, tea and delicious handmade snacks!
Santa Claus. The day’s programme will be extremely enriching for all visitors, while children will also have lots of fun seeing as the opening of the Lidl Food Academy will be carried out by Santa Claus himself, along with his elves! He will be waiting for all children with a big sack filled of chocolates, candies and lots of Lidl treats from 11:00 in the morning until 12:30 & from 16:00 until 20:00 at night.
Cookie workshops. Visitors can watch, try and learn how to make authentic Christmas cookies.
Decorating Sweets and Christmas Cake. During the day, the chefs at Lidl Food Academy will be decorating various festive delicacies while guests can watch and get ideas on how they can decorate their own Christmas table!
Little Chefs. Children will have their own special moments at this year’s OPEN DAY, seeing as during the hours 11-12, 4-5 and 7-8, they will be able to create unique cookie houses with their parents, under the guidance of the Academy’s chefs!
Sweet raffles prizes. Throughout the day, guests at this special celebration will be able to participate in continuous raffles for sweets.
Every year, Lidl Food Academy’s festive OPEN DAY is one of the capital’s favourite family traditions during the Christmas festive season. And this is because the Lidl Food Academy has been associated with good, homemade food, magical recipes, smells and tastes as well as sharing the soul of the spirit Christmas!
