Drawing inspiration from its timeless corporate values, Lidl Cyprus gives love to our fellow human beings who are in need during the holidays.
Specifically, from the 30th of November up until the 7th of December and until the stocks are depleted, with each purchase of selected wooden toys, Lidl Cyprus will offer €15 to the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society.
With this action, it will be the first time that Lidl Cyprus supports the Adopt-A-Room Program at the ‘Arodaphnousa’ Palliative Care Center, while it will also cover the operating costs of the Center’s Nutritional program.
The importance of this year’s action was pointed out by the President of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, Ms. Myria Stavraki, who characteristically stated: “This year, we were faced with unprecedented circumstances. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all. Despite the challenges, however, the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society hasn’t stopped serving thousands of cancer patients across Cyprus by adapting its free services to the new actualities. In order to be able to continuously offer our services to patients and their family members who are in need, we rely on initiatives such as that of Lidl Cyprus. For us, Lidl Cyprus is one of our most valuable allies and we’re grateful to have them by our side, as an ally and supporter. With this action, Lidl Cyprus has given us the opportunity to call on the Cypriot public to once again support the work of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society by purchasing wooden toys.”
Since 2012, Lidl Cyprus has been standing by the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society through financial and product donations amounting to €360,000. With a high sense of responsibility and solidarity, Lidl Cyprus will continue to take care of those in need, on the road to a better tomorrow.
