RSM Cyprus contributes to education by providing Neapolis University students opportunities to gain practical experience and knowledge in audit, tax, accounting, and consulting services.
On December 14, 2021, RSM Cyprus and the University of Neapolis signed a memorandum of understanding intending to offer knowledge and training to tomorrow’s business executives. The memorandum was signed by Mr. George Themistocleous, Managing Partner, CEO of RSM Cyprus and Dr. Andreas Hadjixenophontos, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Neapolis Pafos.
This collaboration aims to offer students in Accounting and Finance degree practical experience and knowledge directly from RSM executives distinguished in their field.
After signing the memorandum, the students had the opportunity to attend a presentation by the CEO of RSM Cyprus, focusing on Cyprus’s audit, tax, accounting, and consulting services with great attention to skills and knowledge that students should acquire in the profession. At the same time, Mr. Themistocleous analysed the criteria for selecting job candidates, career opportunities, and the market sectors in which graduates can be employed after completing their studies. In addition, students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their concerns.
Simultaneously, it is noteworthy to mention that RSM Cyprus participates in the European Project “University Labour Market Liaison Offices,” offering to a selected number of university students internship opportunities in one of the company’s offices in Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia.
Moreover, through the framework of this collaboration, additional actions will take place to motivate students’ further development and promote further learning and practical experiences.
