The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Cyprus and the European University Cyprus will be holding an online Forum on “the Governance Experience: Sharing for a Common Future” in conduction with the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of China – Cyprus Diplomatic Relations.
The Forum – scheduled in June 8th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. – is one of the flagship events that has been selected for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-Cyprus diplomatic relations.
The online Forum will bring together distinguished scholars, notable politicians, opinion leaders as well as key policy and decision makers, including key businesspeople and the general public.
High-ranking political officials and prominent scholars from China will participate in the Forum.
Keynote addresses will be given at the Online Forum«Governance Experience for Sharing a Common Future: Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of China-Cyprus Diplomatic Relations» by the Ambassador of People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Liu Yantao, the President of the House of Representatives Dr. Adamou Adamou , the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Ambassador Mr. Kornelios S. Korneliou and the the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Professor Gao Xiang.
In addition, Keynote Speakers of the Forum will be inter alia the General Secretary of the C.C. of AKEL Mr. A.Kyprianou, the former EU Commissioner Ms. Androulla Vassiliou, the D. Director General of the West Europe Bureau,
International Department of the Central Committee of CPC Ms. Chen Huaifan, the Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs Ms.Shi Ling, the Vice President of China Institute of International Studies
Dr. Ruan Zongze, the President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Christodoulos Agastiniotis, the Political Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Wang Sheng, the Commercial Councillor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Li Yaohui, the President of the Cyprus Rectors’ Conference Professor P.
