Cyprus Public Transport has been operating its routes non-stop over the last two months without having any positive cases among their staff.
Both in the Nicosia and in the Larnaca District, neither drivers nor any member of the management team was found positive for COVID-19 and all of them were able to duly perform their duties.
This is to a large extent due to CPT’s investment in internal safety systems, as well as to the protection measures the company has been consistently implementing. 600 employees of CPT are exposed to possible cases on a daily basis, as they offer their services to thousands of passengers every day. Only in Nicosia, CPT’s team deals with 10,000 passengers per day.
CPT’s team expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the passengers for complying with the personal hygiene and precaution rules and hopes that we will all enjoy soon a worry-free routine.
The MLKP Consortium, which is made up of Malta Lines majority shareholder and Kapnos Airport Shuttle Services, has been awarded two contracts to operate public transport in Nicosia and Larnaca.
