The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) announced the launch of the Cyprus – Australia Business Association, aiming to further promote, expand and encourage business relations between Cyprus and Australia. The establishment of the Business Association forms part of CCCI’s ongoing efforts in creating new prospects for Cypriot businesses.
Christos Vasiliou, Managing Director at KPMG in Cyprus, was elected as the first Chairman of the newly established Cyprus – Australia Business Association. The event was attended and greeted by the Australian High Commissioner H.E. Mr Sam Beever, who expressed his full support towards the Business Association. The Founding Assembly of the Business Association was also greeted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Christodoulides.
Cypriot and Australian companies operating in a wide range of industries of the economy can register as members of the Association. The Business Association operates under the auspices of the CCCI.
