This Christmas, Lidl Cyprus reveals the fairy tale atmosphere of the Christmas festive season with a commercial short film that comes in to remind us of the secret ingredient that makes these days so special.

What makes Christmas a fairy tale? This is what the protagonist of the film, a little girl with a restless spirit and a sheer desire to explore, wonders. To find the desired answer, the protagonist will move heaven and earth in order to discover the most perfect Christmas fairy tale in the world.

Through her eyes, we witness a magnificent journey with wizards, elves, giants and even dragons. She seeks advise from the leading author of children’s fairy tales, Carmen Ruggeri, but eventually fails to achieve what she wanted… at least temporarily. Because, at the end of the day, an improvised fairy tale, told to her by her father on New Year’s Eve and inspired by Lidl Cyprus products, will reveal what we suspected from the beginning. The secret ingredient that makes fairy tales, the festive season and every moment special, is love.
